Job Description for Dermatologist

Responsibilities:

·        Conduct thorough patient consultations to understand their medical history, symptoms, and concerns related to dermatological conditions.

·        Educate patients about their conditions

·        To accurately diagnose various Skin, Hair, and Nail disorders, etc.

·        Plans treatment based on the diagnosed condition, considering the patient's individual needs, medical history, and lifestyle factors.

·        Perform medical procedures, such as skin biopsies, laser treatments, chemical peels, hair treatment and other dermatological procedures, when necessary.

·        Prescribe medications, topical treatments, and oral medications as needed to manage dermatological conditions effectively.

·        Monitor patient’s progress and adjust treatment plans as required during follow-up visits.

·        Provide aesthetic treatments like Botox injections, dermal fillers, and other cosmetic procedures.

·        Keep yourself up-to-date with the latest medical advancements, research, and trends in dermatology to provide the best possible care to your patients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·        A degree in Medical Science-MBBS with a postgraduate qualification in Dermatology (MD, DNB, DVD, DDV) from MCI

·        Valid medical license to practice as a Dermatologist in the relevant jurisdiction.

·        Excellent communication skills and empathy to build strong patient-doctor relationships.

·        Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosis and treatment planning.
