Job Description:
1. Own evolution of one complete POD as per structure.
2. Liaison with a product manager, business owner and QA members to understand requirements, planning sprint, estimation, task creation and timely delivery.
3. Taking architecture decisions and mentoring younger team members.
4. Ensuring standard code quality practices with in POD.
5. Timely communication to all stake holders regarding needed metrics.
6. Writing core/complex components and review output of other team members
7. Strong working relationship with team members, timely feedback for their improvement, as well as feedback at the time of appraisals of team members.
8. Managing all of above for a medium size and complexity of POD. (up to 5 members)
9. Owning till feature is pushed to production and sprint goal is met.
10. Tracking the team’s efficiency and quality of deliverables
11. Own large responsibility for producing software that is HA, monitor-able, and maintainable over time
12. Clearly communicate the timeline, scope and risks

1. Timeliness of delivery as per plan made by him.

1. Defects in QA, Post Production
2. Performance bottlenecks in production
4. Coding quality and architecture standards

Key Skills & Background:
1. B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
2. 3-4 years of software development experience
3. Excellent Java programming skills and expertise in multi-threading and performance-oriented programming.
4. Excellent Functional/Scripting languages. Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Concurrency.
5. Expertise in PL/SQL/RDBMS
6. Expertise in additional persistence technologies like Cassandra, Redis, Elastic Search etc.
7. Exposure to AWS for installing, deploying and maintaining applications.
8. Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and shutdowns.
9. Ability to estimate end to end user story and coordination with other engineers to deliver the same.
10. Expertise in Micro-services Architecture, multi-threading, performance oriented programming and designing skills
11. Experience of team management and taking ownership of overall release managing around 5 people team.
12. Strong fundamentals on Sprint Planning, Sprint Management, Code Repository and tools
