JD for Vulnerability Packaging and installation Administration:

The Vulnerability Packaging and installation Engineer must work from the office from a secure Lab location at the office and visit the Health and Wellness center to install the security Patches.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of monthly security updates, other vulnerability and issues reported with OS configuration and impacts.
• Provide a cumulative package of security updates which can be patched to the Products.

·        Keep devices and services up and running with minimum interruption.

·        Security Patch configuration with Microsoft OS and the application patches shared

·        Patch deployment using pen drive on each system and testing the functionality.

·        OS hardening and service-related to Security Patches installation as defined.

·        Optimize performance and Security vulnerability report.

·        Proactive and reactive monitoring to prevent Production issues.

·        Log analysis and troubleshooting support for OS and application on the medical equipment.

·        Incident management

·        Security scanning and fixes

Preferred Skills

• Embedded OS configuration of Windows Operating system, based on the product need.

·        Windows workstation ver.7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 OS - Installation and Configuration.

·        Setting up new Windows Machine, configuring operating systems, and deploying software and applications.

·        Applying updates, patches, and security fixes to keep systems up-to-date and secure.

·        Continuously monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving issues, and reviewing system logs.

·        Tuning system performance to ensure optimal functionality and resource utilization.

·        Creating and maintaining documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Skills:

·        Deep understanding of Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and administration.

·        Security Awareness, Troubleshooting Skills - Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

·        Networking Fundamentals - Knowledge of networking concepts.

·        Scripting and Automation - Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation tasks.

Experience: 5 - 8 years Mid-Level experience with OS Hardening and Patch management
