• Required Skills (Must Have and should meet all the below standards for qualifying to

this role)

o Knowledge on Routing and switching Technologies like IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP,

RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN,

o Knowledge on Data Center, Cloud and Virtualization industry, ACI, Nexus products

o Experienced Knowledge on LAN SW Technologies like STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC,

MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN-EVPN, DCNM, OTV, Fex, Fabricpath, VXlan, LISP.

o Knowledge of Cisco switching Platforms like Cat 6500, 6800, 4500, 3850, Nexus 7K,

Nexus 5k, Nexus 3K and Nexus9k ( standalone and ACI)

o Experience in installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and/or

Network solution designing of Cisco routers and switch

o Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate

technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco

customers.

o Strong consulting & client-facing skills to include cross-functional influence, external

and internal consulting

• Desired Skills (Good to have as value add to this role)

o Prior experience of conducting customer workshops, High level and low level

network design experience would be preferred.

o Experience with Virtualization (OpenStack / VMware vSphere / Microsoft Hyper V /

Red Hat KVM / Linux Containers etc)

o Routing & Switching Ent Domain

o Knowledge of emerging technologies like SDA/ SDWAN preferred

o Knowledge of UCS products and Hyperflex , DCNM, Nexus Dashboard

o Network automation skills preferred (Python/ Ansible/ GoLang/ Splunk)

• Education &/ Additional Certification’s

o BE/B.Tech/BSC Computer Science or equivalent

o CCNA is a must, CCNP is a plus, CCIE (ENT/DC) is preferred.
