Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, GCP services, and a proven track record of delivering scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architectures leveraging GCP services (Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.)
• Migrate on-premises workloads to GCP, optimizing for cost and performance.
• Manage and maintain GCP infrastructure, including resource provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage cloud-native applications.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with GCP advancements and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in GCP services and architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of networking, storage, and database concepts.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing Linux server environments
• GCP certifications (Cloud Architect, Cloud Engineer, etc.)
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with machine learning and AI frameworks.
