Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Site Civil Engineer to join our esteemed client’s team. This full-time role is based on-site. Candidates with up to 3 years of experience in site engineering will fit well in this position, which emphasizes construction and project management, and safety in civil engineering projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD for drafting and designing engineering plans and layouts is essential.
• Experience with project management techniques to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D software for civil engineering design and documentation is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents accurately.
• Experience with BIM software to manage building information modeling processes efficiently.
• Proficiency in operating surveying equipment to accurately assess site conditions and project layouts.
• Site engineer skills (Mandatory skill) for executing and managing construction site activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
• Prepare detailed daily and monthly progress reports for construction projects, highlighting key developments.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures, minimizing risks and maintaining a safe workplace.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications and codes.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for producing precise engineering drawings and plans.
• Support project management by organizing and coordinating work schedules and resourcing needs.
• Engage in troubleshooting on-site problems related to engineering, safety, or design discrepancies.
