Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting 24x7 mission-critical production systems.

Responsibilities:

·    Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot 24x7 mission-critical production systems to ensure high availability and performance.

·    Ensure monitored parameters are in order and solve/escalate in case of anomalies.

·    Ensure backups are maintained and scheduled jobs are completed.

·    Debug application-level issues and resolve or escalate to the engineering team.

·    Provide insights and feedback to the engineering and product teams to improve system performance and reliability.

·    Develop new features and integrations in coordination with the development team.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in application support or a related field.

Skill / Pre-requisites:

·    Strong knowledge of Linux and Linux commands.

·    Experience with MySQL structured data and Mongodb unstructured data.

·    Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript).

·    Must be willing to work in shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

·    Excellent logical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

·    Awareness of cloud technologies are a definite plus.

·    Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

·    Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

Education:

·    Bachelor's degree in computer science or graduation or equivalent.

Certification if any.
