Banquet Manager - 4-6 years of experience
Responsibility:
1.
Ability to manage end to end banquet operations.
2.
Able to communicate with clients and close booking contracts.
3.
Planning the venue layout according to the number of guests and the type of
event.
4.
Coordination with vendors for smooth running of events.
5.
Determining the number of furniture and servers required for the event depends
on the number of pax and setup.
6.
Coordinating with the catering vendor regarding the timely service of meals and
clearing the tables.
7.
Preparing the work schedule and completing documentations in a timely
manner.
8.
Able to handle a large number of team of different third party vendors and make
them work according to the organisation's SOP.
9.
Able to lead a team of housekeeping, security and part timers.
10. Sound knowledge in menu designing as per customer requirement and cost
calculation.
11. Should have the leadership skill to tackle conflict situations and should have the
competency to provide resolutions.
12. Should have proper knowledge of Pnl and Inventory management.
13. Should have effective communication skills and be confident enough to speak in
front of a large group of people.
Requirement & Skills:
1.
Hotel Management degree and Diploma with 4-6 years of experience in handling
large banquets and events (25000 sqft plus area)
2.
Strong people handling skills.
3.
Excellent analytical skills.
4.
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
5.
Ability to solve problems creatively.
6.
Should have sound knowledge of food and beverage.
