We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Chartered Accountant with expertise in direct taxation to join our renowned chartered accounting company in Ahmedabad. As a Chartered Accountant specializing in direct taxation, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services to our diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on direct taxation matters, including tax planning, compliance, and optimization of tax liabilities.
2. Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable tax laws, regulations, and deadlines.
3. Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax-related issues, staying updated with changes in tax legislation, and communicating the impact to clients.
4. Assist clients in resolving tax disputes, representing them before tax authorities, and managing tax audits and assessments.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of experience in direct taxation.
2. Strong knowledge of Indian direct tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
3. Proven experience in tax planning, preparation of tax returns, and handling tax assessments.
4. Familiarity with tax software and tools used for tax compliance and reporting.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
6. Ability to interpret complex tax laws and communicate them effectively to clients.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client engagements simultaneously.
8. Proficient in using MS Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably Gujarati.
