As a Junior-level, full-time team member, you will be pivotal in processing and monitoring financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all payment-related activities. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and a keen eye for detail within a dynamic engineering services environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in payment processing systems, ensuring accurate and timely execution of transactions (Mandatory skill)
• Strong ability to monitor payment transactions, quickly identify discrepancies and escalate as necessary (Mandatory skill)
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively address client inquiries and resolve payment-related issues (Mandatory skill)
• Accurate data entry abilities, maintaining comprehensive records of all financial operations with precision
• Solid knowledge of Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations in support of payment activities
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and technical departments to support seamless payment flows
• Fundamental understanding of fraud detection techniques to recognize and help mitigate transactional risks
• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, matching statements and ensuring accuracy across multiple accounts

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process and validate payment transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations
• Monitor transactional activity for errors or unusual patterns, initiating corrective measures when discrepancies arise
• Deliver high-quality customer support for payment-related queries, fostering client trust and satisfaction
• Accurately enter payment data into internal systems and maintain detailed documentation for audit and reporting purposes
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payment procedures and resolve cross-departmental payment issues
• Assist in bank reconciliation activities, promptly identifying mismatches and working towards resolution
• Participate in fraud risk assessments, contributing to the early detection and prevention of payment anomalies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in payment workflow and related financial operations
