We are seeking a Junior Food Counter Sales professional to join our vibrant team at Ambernath. This is a full-time position tailored for individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will manage food counter operations efficiently, ensuring premium customer service, pinpoint order management, and effective use of point of sale systems.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in order taking, ensuring precise and swift processing of customer requests (Mandatory skill).
  • Operating point of sale systems for seamless transaction management and order fulfillment (Mandatory skill).
  • Exceptional customer service aptitude, consistently addressing guest needs to ensure satisfaction (Mandatory skill).
  • Sound knowledge of food safety protocols and hygiene standards, strictly adhering to compliance requirements.
  • Effective verbal communication abilities, facilitating clear interactions with team members and customers alike.
  • Competence in stock replenishment, maintaining proper inventory levels and neat presentation at the food counter.
  • Experience in accurate cash handling, including receiving payments and balancing transaction records at shift end.
  • Capacity to upsell menu items by understanding product offerings and promoting value-added options to customers.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, take accurate food orders, and relay requests to kitchen or preparation staff efficiently.
  • Operate point of sale terminals, manage sales transactions, and issue receipts or change promptly and precisely.
  • Ensure a spotless and organized counter area, replenishing stocks and maintaining merchandise displays as needed.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, regularly checking product quality and shelf-life for compliance.
  • Handle cash, cards, and digital payments securely, reconciling receipts and transaction logs at shift conclusion.
  • Resolve basic customer queries or complaints with professionalism, escalating unresolved issues when necessary.
  • Promote and upsell menu specials or new items, encouraging customers to explore a wider range of offerings.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and support staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.
