The Call Center Specialist will play a key role in managing payment collections, negotiating payment terms, and providing exceptional customer service over the phone.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a call center or similar role, with a maximum of 3 years preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and negotiate payment terms.
  • Proven experience in payment collection and calling debtors to remind them of due payments.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to achieve favorable payment terms for both the company and the customers.
  • Good understanding of solution selling techniques to offer appropriate solutions to debtors.
  • Proficiency in using call center software and CRM tools for managing customer information and payment records.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls relating to payment collections in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate payment terms with debtors and offer solutions tailored to their financial situations.
  • Provide payment reminders to customers, maintaining a professional and courteous tone.
  • Accurately document all interactions and negotiations with customers in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with debtors to ensure timely payments and resolve any issues hindering payment.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile payment records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and promotions that may impact payment terms and collection processes.
  • Work towards achieving individual and team targets for successful payment collections and customer satisfaction.
