Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Hardware Engineer to join our team in Pimpri-Chinchwad. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in the field with specialized knowledge in video integration technologies and server communication protocols. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize hardware components, ensuring seamless video processing, data transmission, and server interactions. This role requires a deep understanding of computer architecture, video encoding/decoding, and network communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hardware Design & Development: Develop and test hardware components for video processing, including GPUs, FPGAs, and other multimedia accelerators.
• Video Integration: Implement hardware solutions for video encoding, decoding, streaming, and real-time processing.
• Server Communication: Ensure efficient data transfer between hardware components and servers using TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, and other communication protocols.
• System Optimization: Optimize hardware-software interactions for low-latency video streaming and high-performance server communication.
• Prototyping & Testing: Design and test hardware prototypes, analyzing performance data to refine designs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, network specialists, and cloud architects to create integrated hardware-software solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare technical specifications, schematics, and user manuals.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure hardware solutions meet industry standards and security protocols for data transmission.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Video Integration: Proficient in video processing technologies — codecs (H.264, HEVC), streaming protocols (RTSP, RTMP), and multimedia frameworks (FFmpeg, GStreamer).
• Server Communication: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) and experience with cloud/server environments.
• Hardware Expertise: Experience with GPUs, FPGAs, circuit design, and PCB layout tools (Altium, KiCad).
• Programming: Familiarity with hardware programming languages — Verilog, VHDL, and scripting languages (Python, C/C++).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to debug hardware-software interactions and optimize system performance.
• Teamwork: Excellent collaboration skills to work across engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for server communication.
• Knowledge of AI/ML hardware accelerators for video processing.
• Relevant certifications in hardware design or network communication
