Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This is a full-time position at a junior level requiring one to three years of work experience. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the gym's cleanliness standards and ensuring a welcoming environment for our members. This role is crucial in upholding our commitment to providing exceptional service and a pristine gym experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in operating cleaning equipment to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of all gym areas and facilities.
• Possesses exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that no area is overlooked and that the gym is maintained to high standards.
• Experienced in sanitisation processes to maintain hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring a safe environment for all gym users.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively and complete cleaning schedules within allocated time frames.
• Knowledgeable in health and safety compliance, ensuring cleaning practices adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Strong customer service skills, showing respect towards gym members and addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ability to maintain locker rooms to high standards, ensuring they are clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times.
• Skilled in cleaning gym equipment thoroughly to enhance user experience and extend the longevity of the equipment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, often cleaning/moving heavy equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure all gym areas, including locker rooms, reception, and workout spaces, are clean, sanitised, and well-organised.
• Regularly inspect and maintain cleanliness of gym equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety for users.
• Manage and restock cleaning supplies, ensuring availability for continuous operations without disruptions.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management to facilitate timely rectifications.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure environment for staff and members.
• Coordinate with team members to cover all assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and within scheduled time frames.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting gym members with their inquiries and maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanour.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on cleaning practices and health and safety protocols.
• Engage with members, offering exceptional customer service.
