About the Role:

We’re seeking a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Video Editor to create engaging, high-impact video content for social media channels, including YouTube. The candidate will combine storytelling and AI tools to produce visually compelling videos that drive audience engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and Strategize: Collaborate with teams to develop video concepts aligned with brand goals and social media trends.

- Create & Edit: Produce videos optimized for platforms like YouTube (shorts, long-form), Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc. Add engaging text overlays, transitions, effects, and sound design to make videos pop.

- Use AI Tools: Tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Runway ML, Descript, Synthesia, Pictory) for tasks like writing scripts, automated editing, voiceovers, text-to-video, etc.

- Optimize Content: Ensure videos are platform-specific (aspect ratios, captions, SEO-friendly titles/descriptions).

- Stay Ahead: Keep up with AI trends, editing software updates, and social media algorithm changes.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in social media videos. Samples required.

- Understanding of motion graphics, video production, video color grading, etc. 

- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

- Hands-on experience with AI video tools (e.g., Lumen5, CapCut, Canva Video).

- Deep understanding of YouTube and other platforms’ best practices.

- Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
