Overview:

The Admissions Counselor Intern will support the admissions team in recruiting and guiding prospective students through the application process. This role provides hands-on experience in higher education administration, customer service, and outreach.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing and attending recruitment events, college fairs, and campus tours.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective students and families via email, phone, and in-person.
• Process and review application materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support the creation of promotional materials and social media content for admissions campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records in the admissions database and generate reports as needed.
• Collaborate with the admissions team to develop strategies to attract diverse applicants.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a college or university, preferably in education, communications, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• Passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
