About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Senior Java Developers to join our backend development team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance enterprise applications using Java Spring Boot and microservices architecture. You will work closely with frontend developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions — particularly in the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with a team of developers to design and implement microservices using Spring Boot.

* Participate in the migration of applications from Spring Boot 2.x to 3.x.

* Write clean, scalable, and well-documented Java code.

* Develop and execute unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.

* Integrate RESTful APIs and manage asynchronous processing.

* Optimize application performance, conduct load testing, and ensure robust error handling.

* Work with MySQL databases (cloud-hosted or on-premise).

* Contribute to Docker-based development and deployment processes.

* Collaborate in Agile development cycles (sprints, standups, retrospectives).

* Maintain code versioning using Git and participate in code reviews.

* Engage in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* 4+ years of hands-on Java development experience.

* Strong knowledge of Java 8, Spring Boot (2.x and 3.x), and microservices architecture.

* Experience writing unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, etc.

* Proficient with MySQL (cloud and on-premise).

* Working experience with RESTful API integration and error handling.

* Familiarity with containerization using Docker.

* Strong understanding of Git-based workflows and Agile methodologies.

* Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred/Good to Have:

* Experience working in or knowledge of the healthcare domain.

* Hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.x migration.

* Exposure to AWS cloud services and its components.

* Familiarity with load testing tools and performance tuning.
