Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Performance Testing & Performance Engineering Specialist with strong expertise in JMeter and custom coding. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, executing, and optimizing performance testing strategies across diverse systems and architectures. This role requires hands-on expertise in performance engineering, stakeholder communication, and the ability to lead initiatives within Agile/DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end performance testing and performance engineering activities.
• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, stability, and resiliency tests.
• Develop performance test plans, strategies, workload models, and test cases.
• Set up and manage test environments, test data, and defect management.
• Perform scripting, design, and execution of non-functional tests using JMeter across multiple protocols (HTTP/HTML, REST, Web Services, Queues, async requests).
• Conduct API performance testing and provide optimization insights.
• Gather NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements) from scratch for performance projects.
• Utilize APM tools like AppDynamics, DataDog for system monitoring and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure performance objectives are met.
• Mentor and guide junior team members (preferred).

Requirements

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in performance testing and performance engineering.
• Mandatory & expert-level proficiency in JMeter and custom coding.
• Strong skills in Java/Python programming.
• Deep understanding of hardware/software architecture and system performance.
• Proven expertise in Agile/DevOps methodologies for performance engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent stakeholder communication.
• Good to have:
• Experience in frontend performance testing.
• Team leadership or mentoring exposure.
