Job Title: Node.js Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Node.js Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in building backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js. The ideal candidate should be familiar with MongoDB and have a good understanding of AWS services and CI/CD pipelines. This is a remote position, requiring strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design efficient and scalable MongoDB schemas for data storage and retrieval.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (preferably AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, etc.) to ensure automated builds, testing, and deployment.
• Monitor and debug production issues and optimize performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in MongoDB including schema design, aggregation, and indexing.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, EC2, S3, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Exposure to Docker and containerized deployment.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
