Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior React Developer for a freelance or part-time contract-to-hire position at Webexcel Technologies. Based in Chennai, the ideal candidate should have up to 10 years of work experience in developing robust and scalable digital solutions, equipped with strong technical capabilities to lead projects in a dynamic IT environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in React.js (Mandatory skill) with proven experience in building interactive and dynamic web applications efficiently.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ (Mandatory skill), enabling the ability to write clean, modern, and maintainable code.
• Experience with Node.js (Mandatory skill) which is essential for creating fast, scalable server-side applications.
• Proficient in Redux, essential for managing application state effectively in complex applications.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, adding robust typing features to improve codebase reliability and efficiency.
• Skilled in integrating and using RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data communication between services.
• Experience with modern frontend build tools such as Webpack for optimizing and managing project workflow.
• Proficient in using Jest for unit and integration testing to secure high code quality and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality, scalable, and reusable React components for web applications.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize application performance to ensure responsiveness and efficiency across devices.
• Manage and maintain the application state using Redux, ensuring consistency and predictability.
• Leverage RESTful APIs to fetch and update data as required by the project requirements.
• Actively participate in code reviews and ensure the software development best practices are followed.
