Solution Architect (E-Commerce)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Develop detailed solution architectures that meet business needs and align with technical standards.
• Create architectural blueprints and design documents.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to implement solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
• Ensure that solutions are integrated seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight during the implementation phase.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Facilitate architecture and design reviews.
• Define and enforce standards for code quality, performance, and security.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure solutions meet performance requirements.
• Ensure robust testing and validation of solutions before deployment.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of solution architectures and design decisions.
• Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Conduct regular reviews to ensure ongoing compliance and relevance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and development teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the technology team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a solution architecture role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale, complex solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
