Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to oversee procurement activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials, furniture, and other essential resources for design projects. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, experience in vendor management, and a keen ability to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers to establish reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with vendors to ensure favourable terms.
  • Oversee the procurement process from purchase requisition to final delivery.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials and furnishings to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate purchase records.
  • Collaborate with the design and project management teams to understand material specifications and procurement needs.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on new materials, trends, and competitive pricing.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.
  • Address and resolve supplier-related issues to avoid project delays.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1.5-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in interior design, construction, or a related industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings used in interior design is an advantage.
