Qualification: Diploma in Safety/ Bachelor’s degree in occupational Health and Safety , industrial hygiene, or safety studies.

Exp: 2-3 Yrs (Safety Officer in civil construction site field)

Skills:Excellent communication skills Both English-Tamil& Hindi must.

    Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines (OSHA, OSHPD, etc.) and standards/

    Knowledge in Site Safety Rules and regulations

    preparing Daily Safety Document/ Report

    Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Emergency response planning

    Safety training and education

    Risk assessment and hazard identification

    Safety policy development and implementation

    Accident investigation and reporting

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Developing and Implementing Safety Plans: Create and implement health and safety plans, 

  policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment across construction activities.

2. Ensuring Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal regulations and occupational

  health and safety (OHS) guidelines, maintaining compliance at all times.

3. Risk Assessment and Hazard Control: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential

  hazards and implement effective control measures.

4. Employee Training and Awareness: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees

  on health and safety protocols, raising awareness and preparedness.

5. Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes,

  and provide actionable recommendations to prevent future occurrences.

6. Promoting a Safety-First Culture: Foster and promote a strong health and safety culture within 

  the organization to encourage proactive participation in safety practices.

7. Site Coordination with Clients: Act as the point of contact for clients regarding on-site safety

  concerns and coordinate efforts to align safety measures with project requirements.

8. Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update safety plans and processes to reflect evolving

  best practices and legal requirements.

9. Ability to work on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
