Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Research Associate – R&D to join our innovative team. This role will focus on the research, formulation, and development of high-quality skincare and hair care products aligned with our clean beauty philosophy. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetic science, hands-on experience in formulation, and a keen eye for detail and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current and upcoming consumer trends, new actives, ingredients, product formats, and packaging innovations.
• Conduct bench-scale experiments for new product development and demonstrate product performance through standard protocols.
• Build a comprehensive database from scientific literature, patents, competitor benchmarks, and supplier resources.
• Design and execute product efficacy tests using internal and external panel evaluations.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to support claims and promotional strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for smooth product development and timely market launch.
• Utilize digital tools and social media insights to support product innovation goals.
• Ensure adherence to GLP, GMP, and ISO standards in all R&D activities.

Key Requirements

• M.Sc. in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in an R&D or formulation role within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
• Sound knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and lab testing.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety practices.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A curious mind with a passion for clean beauty and sustainable product innovation.
