Experience: Minimum 8  to        Maximum 10 years for Graduates

                      Minimum 10  to     Maximum 12 years for Diploma holders

**Experience in engineering companies (power industry). **

 

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in mechanical engineering

Job Responsibilities:

·      He is responsible for the integration of all activities for the E&C construction and commissioning functions.

·      Prepares the schedule related reports for the weekly/monthly progress reports as project specific required.

·      Updates and delivers the Site Time Schedule and site monthly progress reports.

·      Implements internal and external Planning reporting procedures and ensures that the project team, partner and customer understand and adhere to their reporting requirements

·      Analyse schedule performance compared to the established project plan using critical path analysis method (CPM) and float management, with a focus on early identification of risks and opportunities to facilitate proactive actions that will optimise on-time performance of internal and subcontracted deliverables.

·      Responsible for budget control and all aspects of general site management

·      Maintaining regular dialogue and contact with the Client’s Site management

·      Responsible for the day-to-day management of mechanical, electrical and civil activities on the Site

·      Supervision of the activities of all section engineers to execute the erection, commissioning, testing and handing over of the Works to the Client

·      Daily correspondence with the Client, suppliers and sub-contractor’s Site managers

·      Regular co-ordination meetings with the Client, sub-contractor’s management

·      Set-up and develop and maintain the project structure and responsibilities on Site

·      Preparation of Daily, weekly and monthly Site progress reports and checking of all sub-contractor’s reports before submittal to the Project Director

·      Close supervision of the Project Completion Programme. Ensuring the all potential and actual delays are identified, proposing remedies and ensuring the all sub-contractor’s activities are suitably.

Others

·      Quality monitoring during the assembly of the plant equipment. Monitoring performance of welding inspections and non-destructive examinations.

·      To facilitate and ensure the flow of information between the site and the Commercial Management Team (CMT) in Hyderabad and others as directed.

·      The Site in charge shall coordinate all the safety and other related issue at site, to ensure the works are done in the safest manner.

·      He shall supervise the site erection crew appointed by the Consortium member and ensure that the HZ India requirement is taken care. He shall supervise all the site tests/ Site planning and also coordinate with Engineering in case of any missing information to complete all the erection.

·      Shall be aware of the typical Erection of Industrial Boiler/ Grate type Biomass Boiler/EfW Boiler and associated Flue gas treatment system. Preferable but not a mandatory to have general knowledge of BOP and TG systems.

·      Should have done/supervised the erection work for the manufacturer or worked under an erection Company. HE shall be familiar with the erection sequence and manage the site as needed.

·      Record all the drawing Document received and any missing information shall be update with the Engineering/ Project Management team.

·      Identification of additional site work and the cost impact due to Engineering missing items; Creation of NCR for the site work and corrective actions thereof.
