Job Overview

VGK Builders Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Account Manager for a Full-Time Senior position at our Tambaram location. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry. This role involves managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and offering strategic insights that align with our commitment to quality and affordable living solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with VAT returns and a comprehensive understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Expertise in Goods and Services Tax (GST), including filing, compliance, and management of all relevant documentation.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP software for accurate financial reporting and handling of day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, generate insights, and aid in strategic decision-making processes.
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with internal teams and external partners, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding.
• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and documentation.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously improve the efficiency of financial operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Prepare and maintain VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Handle GST compliance, including filing returns and managing associated documentation for the company.
• Oversee and manage the implementation of Tally ERP to streamline accounting processes and reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic business decisions and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate and timely year-end audit activities.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies to facilitate smooth financial operations.
