SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER – STRUCTURES & CIVIL Designation: Senior Design Engineer Role: Design, Modeling and Documentation Discipline: Civil/Structures Platform: CAD & BIM (Design & Modeling) Location: Salem, TN Duties: ▪ Design, Modeling, Detailing and Documentation: o Design of structural systems (2D & 3D). o Construction documentation (BIM). o Detailed design (BIM). o Calculations using StaadPro / Tekla. o Structural analysis (Mandatory). ▪ QC: o Follow project QC checklist: Structures o Implement QC standards across the project tasks: Structures o Maintain the same level of quality on all deliverables in all the projects: Structures ▪ Client Coordination: o Daily / Weekly status calls with client to update the task status along with the Project Lead. o Capture and analyze the client requirements: Structures o Deliver the tasks to clients as per the schedule with the supervision of the project lead. Responsibilities: ▪ Responsible for overall performance of Structural Engineering tasks working on various projects in India, as assigned by Project Lead. ▪ Quality of deliverables to the clients. ▪ Delivery of CAD and BIM projects as per clients expectations. o Calculations o Design & Analysis (concrete and steel) o Modeling & Detailing o Construction Documentation & Material take-off Skillset: ▪ Technical o StaadPro and E-Tabs o Revit – Structures & BIM360 o AutoCAD o 3D Civil o Tekla o Navisworks ▪ Domain o Civil/Structures: India o Constructability standards pertaining to India o Working knowledge on projects in India (must) ▪ Design knowledge of structures is a must. o Commercial Buildings & Residential Buildings o Office Buildings o Hospital Buildings o Institutional Buildings o Mixed-use Buildings Qualification: ▪ M. Tech (Structural Engineering) Experience: ▪ Overall 7+ Years on CAD and BIM platform
