Duties:

§ Design, Modeling, Detailing and Documentation:

o  Design of Plumbing systems (2D & 3D).

o  Construction documentation (BIM).

o  Detailed design (BIM).

o  Makes calculations using engineering formulas and skills for design, such as waste, vent, water, natural gas, storm and medical gas loads and equipment sizing.

o  Researches design options and document findings for Project Lead.

o  Calculates space requirements for proper equipment layout.

o  Designs room layouts.

o  Lays out portions of piping systems based on schematic layout by Project Lead.

§ QC:

o  Follow project QC checklist: Plumbing

o  Implement QC standards across the assigned projects: Plumbing

o  Maintain the same level of quality on all deliverables in all the assigned projects/tasks: Plumbing

§ Client Coordination:

o  Daily / Weekly status calls with client to update the task status along with the Project Lead.

o  Capture and analyze the client requirements: Plumbing

o  Deliver the tasks to clients as per the schedule with the supervision

of the project lead.

Responsibilities:

§ This role will have no direct reporting associates.

§ Responsible for overall performance of Plumbing tasks (as assigned by the project lead).

§ Quality of the deliverables to the clients (on the assigned plumbing tasks).

§ Delivery of CAD and BIM projects as per clients expectations.

o  Design and calculation of Plumbing systems (must)

Skillset:

§ Technical

o  Revit MEP

o  AutoCAD

o  BIM360

o  Navisworks

§ Domain

o  USA Plumbing standards./International/Indian

o  Working knowledge on USA projects (must).

o  Working knowledge of Plumbing systems.

o  Design knowledge of Plumbing systems is a must.

§ Commercial Buildings & Residential Buildings

Qualification:

§ B. Tech / M. Tech (Mechanical)

Experience:

§ Overall 5+ Years on CAD and BIM platforms.3 yrs – 7 yrs

o With 2+ years of Sr.Design Engineer experience(Plumbing).
