Internship Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically curious IT Pre-Sales Intern to support our sales and solution teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in the intersection of technology and sales, with exposure to client engagement, proposal building, and technical documentation. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable insight into IT consulting and enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Learning and Development:
- Learn about VectorStack’s IT products, services, and solutions, including software, hardware, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to build your technical pre-sales knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and competitive products.
Sales Support:
- Assist in preparing technical presentations, product demos, and proposal documentation.
- Work under the guidance of senior Pre-Sales Consultants to understand client pain points and suggest suitable tech solutions.
- Help in compiling RFP/RFI responses with technical inputs.
Customer Interaction:
- Join client meetings and take notes on their IT needs and challenges.
- Assist in answering basic technical queries from clients during early sales stages.
- Support the documentation of client requirements for proposal creation.
Collaboration & Content Creation:
- Work closely with internal teams, including product, engineering, and support to align on solution design.
- Help prepare pre-sales materials like case studies, brochures, and knowledge decks.
- Share insights and feedback from client discussions to improve solution offerings.
Continuous Learning:
- Show initiative in learning new tools, technologies, and sales techniques.
- Offer suggestions to improve internal documentation and sales processes.
Who Can Apply:
- Final-year students or recent graduates with a background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest in IT, cloud technologies, and enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Previous internship or academic exposure to IT sales or pre-sales processes.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure or software development lifecycle
