Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead DevSecOps Engineer who has experience building and scaling large-scale D2C platforms serving 30M+ users.

This is a contract-based role for a duration of 1 to 3 months, focused on defining and implementing the security, scalability, and reliability architecture of the platform.

You will lead the infrastructure and DevSecOps strategy required to support a high-traffic consumer platform powered by AI and real-time services.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Architecture

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure capable of supporting 30M+ users
• Architect high-availability systems at a global scale
• Build infrastructure optimized for AI workloads and high-traffic consumer platforms

DevOps and CI/CD

• Establish robust CI/CD pipelines for rapid releases
• Implement automated testing and deployment frameworks
• Enable infrastructure for rapid experimentation and feature rollouts

Security and Compliance

• Build security-first infrastructure architecture
• Implement DevSecOps practices across development pipelines
• Ensure security across user data, payments, APIs, and AI systems

Reliability and Performance

• Ensure 99.9%+ platform uptime
• Design systems to handle large traffic spikes during launches and campaigns

Cost Optimization

• Optimize cloud costs while maintaining scalability and performance
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting systems

Team Leadership

• Lead DevOps and infrastructure teams
• Define best practices across engineering teams
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership

Required Experience

• 10+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure
• Proven experience scaling D2C platforms to 30M+ users
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience designing high-availability distributed systems

Strong Expertise In:

• Kubernetes
• Containerization
• CI/CD architecture
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
• Monitoring and observability tools
• DevSecOps and platform security

Experience With:

• AI/ML infrastructure
• High-scale mobile backends
• Real-time consumer platforms

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in large consumer internet companies
• Built infrastructure for high-scale mobile applications
• Strong understanding of D2C product challenges
• Experience in consumer apps, AI products, or high-growth startups

Educational Qualification

Candidates must be from Tier-1 institutions such as:
