Job Description:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise backup platforms (e.g., Cohesity, Dell Data Domain).

• At least 3 years in designing and implementing enterprise class backup solutions for a large company

• Deep knowledge of backup, recovery, and data replication technologies across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

• Experience with scripting and automation (Ansible, PowerShell, Python, etc.).

• Strong understanding of storage systems, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

• Proven experience supporting DR scenarios and backup failover testing

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of related technologies like VMWare, Windows, Unix/Linux, and databases is preferred.

• Experience with Data Protection tools like Rubrik and Commvault.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and ServiceNow Tool.

• Knowledge of security principles as related to data protection and backups (e.g., encryption, air-gapped backups, immutable storage).

• Excellent communication skills, troubleshooting and analytical thinking.

• Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Ability to work across teams and influence decisions.
