We are seeking a motivated Jr Android Developer (Fresher) to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with 0 to 1 year of work experience who are eager to learn and grow their career in mobile app development. You will work alongside experienced developers to deliver high-quality, scalable Android applications and contribute to various innovative projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Kotlin (Mandatory skill): foundational knowledge of Kotlin, demonstrating the ability to build modern Android applications efficiently and safely following current programming practices.
• Android SDK (Mandatory skill): experience working with core Android components and libraries to create high-performing and user-friendly mobile applications.
• REST APIs (Mandatory skill): familiarity with consuming RESTful web services for integrating backend functionalities into Android apps.
• Java: basic to intermediate understanding of Java programming for Android development, enabling maintenance of legacy codebases and working with existing projects.
• SQLite: knowledge of utilizing SQLite as a database solution for storing, retrieving, and managing app data locally on Android devices.
• Git: experience with version control using Git to collaborate with team members and manage source code in a structured workflow environment.
• Material Design: understanding of implementing Google’s Material Design principles for creating visually appealing and intuitive Android user interfaces.
• XML: ability to design and develop user interface layouts and resources in Android apps using XML effectively, ensuring responsive UI across various devices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Android mobile applications that meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities in on-demand app clone products.
