Job Title: Business Development Executive
Responsibilities:
1. Market Research - Identifying potential customers in the target customer base in Bangalore and Chennai region & generating leads. Sending introduction emails, cold calling and visiting potential customers to understand heat treatment requirements.
2. Business conversion - prospecting and generating RFQs. Coordinating technical evaluation with the plant. Preparing and submitting quotations to the customers. Follow-up on quotations to convert into business / Pos.
3. Keeping tab on competitor's activity and providing insights about their business.
4. Regular visits to customers for new business development.
5. Project follow-ups and communication – both internal and external.
6. Maintain documentation for new part development until parts are productionized and handed over to production team.
7. Coordination with plant to ensure on-time implementation of the new business development projects.
8. Business development performance should meet / exceed targets. Performance will be tracked through well-defined KPIs.
9. Generate management information system related to business development.
