Position: Migration Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Migration Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute content migration activities. The role focuses on ensuring accurate data transfer, content integrity, and alignment with platform standards while working closely with internal project teams.

 Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate all migration activities with project teams

* Perform due diligence and support migration planning activities

* Optimize migration speed and cost in collaboration with Operations teams

* Execute sample migrations to define content standards and migration expectations

* Develop custom crawler or script-based solutions for content extraction and retrieval

* Validate content mapping, bulk imports, and media asset transfers into the platform

* Lead formatting and normalization efforts to align content with platform styling and usability standards

* Manage article-level URL redirects to preserve link integrity and SEO value

 Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

* Hands-on experience with content extraction, crawling tools, APIs, or automation scripts

* Strong understanding of HTML, content structuring, and formatting normalization

* Experience managing bulk imports, media asset handling, and URL redirections

* Familiarity with QA processes for content-heavy platforms

* Knowledge of script writing

* Knowledge of customer support processes with good problem-solving skills

* Good written and verbal communication skills
