Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy and Leadership
· Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with business goals.
· Identify key AI opportunities across personalization, marketing, operations, and customer service.
· Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI specialists.
· Collaborate with executive leadership to drive AI initiatives that create a competitive advantage.
Product and Customer Experience Innovation
· Enhance customer experience through AI-driven personalization, recommendation engines, and dynamic pricing.
· Lead the development of innovative features such as chatbots, and automated support.
Operational Efficiency and Automation
· Implement AI-driven automation in marketing, fraud detection, and customer support.
· Ensure scalability and efficiency of AI solutions to support business growth.
Data Governance and Ethics
· Establish AI governance policies to ensure ethical, transparent, and fair use of AI.
· Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices in data security.
· Proactively mitigate bias in AI models and algorithms.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership
· Partner with product, marketing, operations, and engineering teams to integrate AI into core business functions.
· Communicate complex AI concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
· Serve as a thought leader and evangelist for AI internally and externally.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise
· 7+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or related roles, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
· Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
· Proficiency with Python, AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and cloud platforms (AWS).
Business Acumen
· Proven track record of delivering AI-driven solutions that drive business impact in ecommerce or a similar domain.
· Strong understanding of ecommerce operations, customer experience, and marketing strategies.
· Ability to balance short-term tactical needs with long-term strategic vision.
Leadership and Communication
· Exceptional leadership, team-building, and people management skills.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
· Experience in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with diverse teams.
