Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage Azure workloads (Service Fabric, AKS) and unify pipelines, monitoring, and security.
• Lead Azure landing zones rollout for governance across multi-subscription environments.
• Drive compliance, data governance, and core reporting/analytics for business-critical platforms.
• Establish CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Bicep, Helm), incident management, and DR practices.
• Own DevOps roadmap, culture, and pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Argo CD).
• Migrate legacy workloads to modern cloud and enforce GitOps & release standardization.
• Ensure HA/DR readiness with automated failover testing.
• Consolidate monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, DataDog, Defender, SQL Sentry).
• Implement security best practices (Key Vault, image scanning, vulnerability mgmt).
• Build incident/problem management frameworks (RCA, documentation, prevention).
• Partner with developers and business stakeholders on KPIs, parity, and DevOps visibility.
• Mentor teams in modern DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering, 3+ in a lead role.
• Strong Azure expertise (AKS, SQL, Service Fabric, Key Vault, Monitor, ACR).
• Proven CI/CD and GitOps (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Argo CD).
• Database DevOps (Liquibase, SQL deployments, PITR).
• IaC (Terraform, Bicep, Helm), governance (Landing Zones).
• Monitoring/observability (Azure Monitor, DataDog, SQL Sentry).
• Solid knowledge of SRE, incident management, RCA, and security practices.
• Strong communicator with business alignment experience.
• Experience migrating legacy workloads to cloud.
