Role: Data Engineer (AWS)

~AWS native services (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Athena, Kinesis/MSK, SageMaker)

~Data Mesh, Distributed Architectures, Schema Management

~Spark, dbt, Pandas for ETL/ELT workflows

~MLOps, Vector Stores (OpenSearch), Feature Stores (SageMaker)

~Data Governance, Security, Compliance (GDPR/SOC2/ISO)

~Orchestration (Step Functions, Airflow) & Observability (CloudWatch)

Responsibilities:

✔️ Build & optimize ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS

✔️ Manage data lakes, warehouses, & mesh architectures

✔️ Support AI/semantic search & RAG workloads

✔️ Ensure data security, compliance, and governance

✔️ Collaborate with scientists, analysts & stakeholders for accessible, high-quality data
