Job Overview
Twixor is seeking a dynamic WebRTC Developer for our Chennai office. This mid-level, full-time position requires a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in developing and maintaining WebRTC applications and should be capable of leveraging STUN/TURN servers, WebSocket, and other relevant technologies to develop robust communication solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong proficiency in WebRTC, STUN/TURN server, and WebSocket (Mandatory skill).
- Experience with WebRTC API and Signaling Protocols to facilitate real-time communication effectively.
- Deep understanding of media streaming principles, including encoding, transport, and error correction mechanisms.
- Thorough knowledge of peer-to-peer networking protocols to enable efficient data exchange between clients.
- Capability in using Socket.io for building real-time applications and ensuring smooth event-driven communication.
- Proficiency in technologies like Node.js and Java or Python to develop and integrate backend services.
- Experience in optimizing WebRTC applications for performance and scalability in large-scale deployments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to connectivity, latency, and compatibility in WebRTC applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy WebRTC-based applications to enhance Twixor's customer-facing solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of STUN/TURN and WebSocket servers to maintain robust communication channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement user-friendly interfaces and backend services for real-time interactions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of WebRTC solutions, addressing issues related to connectivity and user experience.
- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to improve existing communication platforms.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
- Document application processes and provide necessary training to stakeholders for effective use of communication solutions.
- Assist in the resolution of technical issues escalated from support teams, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
