Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst to join our Chennai office. This full-time, mid-level role is ideal for an individual passionate about driving business process improvements in the BFSI sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital customer journeys and enable business transformation using conversational AI platforms.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Requirements Gathering (Mandatory skill): Advanced skills in eliciting, capturing, and clarifying business requirements from stakeholders to support strategic project goals.
  • BRD and FRD (Mandatory skill): Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements Documents to ensure project alignment.
  • Business Analyst in BFSI Module (Mandatory skill): Proven experience working as a business analyst within Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance domains, understanding their processes and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively engage, communicate, and manage expectations of internal and external business stakeholders.
  • User Stories: Proficient in writing detailed, clear, and actionable user stories to facilitate development cycles within agile teams.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experienced in working within Agile frameworks, collaborating with scrum teams, and adapting to iterative production environments.
  • Experience in Conversational AI Platforms (Chatbots): Prior involvement with chatbot solutions, virtual assistants, or natural language processing platforms to design intelligent customer journeys.
  • Rest API: Understanding and working knowledge of REST APIs for integrating front-end and back-end systems in digital transformation projects.
  • UAT: Experience preparing for, organizing, and conducting user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are ready for deployment.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and analyze requirements for digital process automation projects, particularly within the BFSI domain.
  • Create comprehensive BRD and FRD documents that align with business objectives and ensure clarity for technical and non-technical audience.
  • Lead requirement gathering workshops and conduct interviews to capture precise project requirements for conversational AI and messaging channel solutions.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams, ensuring consistent and prioritized backlogs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including support during solution design, development, integration, and user acceptance testing phases.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, handle expectation management, and provide timely and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation, especially for chatbot and API integrations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends in digital automation, BFSI, and conversational AI to propose innovative solutions and enhancements for ongoing projects.
