Job Title: Head of Human Resources / Senior HR Leader

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Leader / Head of Human Resources with 15–20 years of experience in the IT / Software industry. The candidate will be responsible for leading the entire HR function including talent acquisition, HR operations, employee engagement, HR policy development, and strategic HR leadership. The role requires working closely with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Leadership Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including senior management and leadership hiring.
- Develop hiring strategies to attract top talent for technical and non-technical roles.
- Partner with leadership teams to understand workforce planning and hiring needs.
2. HR Operations
- Oversee complete HR operations and administration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR best practices.
- Manage employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, and exit processes.
3. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company standards.
- Maintain HR governance and audit readiness.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
- Design programs for employee satisfaction, retention, and organizational development.
- Address employee concerns and maintain a healthy work environment.
5. Strategic HR Leadership
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and management.
- Provide HR insights to support business growth and transformation.
- Lead organizational change management initiatives.
6. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the HR team.
- Build a high-performing HR department that supports business objectives.
- Manage HR budgets and resource planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 15–20 years of HR experience, preferably in IT / Software companies.
- Strong experience in leadership hiring and HR operations.
- Proven experience in HR strategy, policy development, and employee engagement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of labor laws and HR compliance.
- Ability to work closely with senior management and drive organizational growth.
Education
- MSW/ MBA / PGDM/ in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Work Location: Chennai
Notice Period: Below 30 days.
