Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled System/DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in VMware virtualization, hardware infrastructure, networking, VPN, security access, and DevOps practices. The candidate will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and supporting automation and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion)
• Handle server hardware, storage systems, and infrastructure support
• Configure and manage networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, VLANs)
• Implement and maintain VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL VPN)
• Manage firewalls, security access controls, IAM, and endpoint security
• Monitor systems and ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or scripting (Shell/Python)
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization (preferred)
• Collaborate with development teams for deployment and release management
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues

Required Skills:

Virtualization & Hardware:

• Strong experience in VMware (ESXi, vCenter)
• Hands-on experience with physical servers, storage (SAN/NAS)

Networking:

• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching
• Experience with firewalls and network security tools

VPN & Security:

• Hands-on experience with VPN setup (IPSec, SSL VPN)
• Knowledge of access control, IAM, and cybersecurity best practices

DevOps:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Experience in Docker & Kubernetes (preferred)
• Scripting skills (Bash, Shell, Python)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as VMware (VCP), CCNA, AWS/Azure DevOps
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)

Work Location: Chennai (Work from Office)
