Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Chatbot Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, passionate about building next-generation conversational experiences and digital customer journeys using innovative chatbot frameworks and AI-driven technologies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in DialogflowCX (Mandatory skill), demonstrating hands-on experience in designing and managing conversational flows in enterprise-grade environments.
- Experience with chatbot frameworks, including both open-source and proprietary solutions (Mandatory skill), for scalable conversational AI applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Bot Framework (Mandatory skill) to develop, deploy, and maintain intelligent bots across multiple platforms.
- Ability to design, build, and integrate REST APIs, ensuring chatbots can communicate with backend systems and third-party services securely and efficiently.
- Understanding of Natural Language Processing concepts and experience leveraging NLP tools to enhance chatbot conversational capabilities and accuracy.
- Hands-on experience in developing chatbot functionalities, from intent and entity modeling to backend orchestration, supporting both menu-driven and free-form interactions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that improve customer experience across various industries.
- Solid communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and handling documentation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy chatbots using DialogflowCX, Microsoft Bot Framework, and other industry-standard chatbot platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the product, UX, and client teams to translate business goals and customer journeys into effective conversational flows.
- Integrate chatbots with REST APIs and various backend services to enable secure transactional capabilities over messaging channels.
- Implement AI and NLP features to enhance the chatbot's intent recognition, personalization, and user experience.
- Test, debug, and optimize conversation flows based on analytics and feedback, ensuring accuracy and seamless user engagement.
- Ensure smooth escalation from chatbot to live agent when human intervention is required, while maintaining context and continuity.
- Provide technical documentation, walkthroughs, and support for implemented chatbot solutions for internal teams and clients.
- Participate in continuous learning and improvement initiatives to adopt new technologies that advance digital process automation and customer engagement.
