Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Chatbot Developer to join our team in Chennai on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in building and deploying chatbot solutions. You will work on the design, development, and implementation of intelligent chatbots for enterprise clients, helping innovate customer engagement and digital process automation.


Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working with chatbot platforms, developing intelligent conversational solutions for end users.
  • Proficiency with Dialogflow (Mandatory skill), including intent design, entity extraction, and context management for building robust chatbot conversations.
  • Strong experience with Chatbot Frameworks (Mandatory skill) to ensure enterprise-grade deployment, scalability, and integrations.
  • Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Bot Framework (Mandatory skill), including development and deployment of chatbots on Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience in integrating and consuming APIs using programming languages or frameworks relevant to chatbot applications.
  • Solid foundation in Natural Language Processing, with the ability to design and optimize conversational flows for better user experiences and intent accuracy.
  • Experience in developing or maintaining chatbots using Rasa, including dialogue management, custom actions, and channel connectors for real-time interactions.
  • Capability to test, debug, and optimize chatbots for high performance and reliability across multiple messaging channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy chatbot solutions on various messaging platforms tailored to client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical chatbot implementations.
  • Build conversational workflows leveraging Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, and other chatbot frameworks as required by the project.
  • Integrate chatbots with internal and external APIs to enable end-to-end business process automation and seamless user experiences.
  • Apply natural language processing techniques to increase intent detection accuracy and improve user engagement within chatbot solutions.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing chatbot applications to meet evolving business needs and user expectations.
  • Test chatbots thoroughly to ensure reliable performance, data accuracy, and robust exception handling on all targeted messaging channels.
  • Document chatbot designs, conversation flows, integration architectures, and deployment processes for ongoing support and enhancement.
