Job Overview

Twixor is seeking a Junior Chatbot Developer to join our team in Chennai on a full-time basis. This role is designed for candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, passionate about building innovative bot solutions and enhancing digital customer journeys for global clients through automation and intelligent interactions.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven hands-on experience as a chatbot developer or bot developer, with a strong capability in designing and deploying enterprise-grade chatbot solutions (Mandatory skill).
  • Prior bot building experience that demonstrates practical application of conversation flows and intent management in customer engagement scenarios (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining bots across messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram is highly advantageous (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency working with REST APIs to integrate external data sources and backend systems, enhancing chatbot functionality and user experience.
  • Solid experience with Dialogflow, including intent, entity management, and fulfillment for building AI-driven conversation workflows.
  • Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Bot Framework for bot application development, dialog creation, and channel integration.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on improving chatbot performance and customer experience.
  • Clear communication skills for collaborative work with cross-functional teams, understanding project requirements, and documenting bot logic and flows.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy intelligent chatbots for diverse enterprise use cases across messaging channels, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and backend systems into chatbot environments to enable business transactions and dynamic content delivery.
  • Build conversational experiences utilizing Dialogflow and Microsoft Bot Framework, employing best practices for AI/NLP-driven automation.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize chatbot conversations for accuracy, user engagement, and error reduction.
  • Support deployments, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide ongoing maintenance, including software updates and feature enhancements.
  • Stay informed of advancements in conversational AI, messaging platforms, and industry best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
