Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Chennai on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and technical teams, focusing on requirements gathering, process improvements, and delivering effective solutions across BFSI modules, facilitating next-generation digital customer journeys for our clients.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Requirements Gathering (Mandatory skill) – demonstrated expertise in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting comprehensive business requirements from various stakeholders in complex projects.
  • Business Analyst in BFSI Module (Mandatory skill) – prior experience working on BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) projects, with deep understanding of related business processes.
  • BRD & FRD (Mandatory skill) – proven ability to prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents and Functional Requirement Documents with accuracy and clarity.
  • Stakeholder Management – effective communicator with experience in engaging, influencing, and managing expectations of cross-functional stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • User Stories – proficient in converting business requirements into actionable user stories and maintaining a well-organized product backlog to support development teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies – understanding of agile principles, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and participating actively in agile ceremonies for project delivery.
  • Experience in Conversational AI Platforms – hands-on involvement with chatbots, conversational interfaces, REST API integration, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to interpret large volumes of data, identify trends or issues, and translate findings into meaningful business insights and process improvements.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients, product managers, and technical teams to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for digital process automation solutions.
  • Develop high-quality BRD and FRD documents, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility, specifically within BFSI domains.
  • Convert business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that inform agile development workflows for efficient project execution.
  • Facilitate and participate in agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and showcases, helping to drive project progress and resolve impediments.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
  • Drive and perform user acceptance testing activities in conversational AI solutions, validating that deliverables meet documented requirements and user expectations.
  • Leverage knowledge of conversational AI platforms, chatbots, and REST API integrations to recommend enhancements and deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Continually analyze and optimize business and digital processes to improve customer engagement, service efficiency, and overall project outcomes.
