Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time, mid-level position for professionals with up to 6 years of work experience. You will work on developing advanced backend solutions that enable digital customer journeys across messaging platforms, contributing to Twixor’s goal of seamless digital transformation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB (Mandatory skill), with a proven track record of building scalable backend APIs and services.
• Strong experience with Redis and Kafka to support high-performance, distributed system architectures required for enterprise applications.
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and their practical implementation in backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL or similar SQL databases for data modeling, query optimization, and integration with backend services.
• Good understanding of RESTful API design principles and their implementation for reliable and efficient communication between services.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, aiding teams in collaborative development and streamlined code management.
• Ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks, resolve complex backend issues, and write unit/integration tests for robust code quality.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities to work in cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB to support digital process automation solutions.
• Integrate and optimize data flows using Redis, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end digital customer engagement platforms.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code, adhering to the company’s coding standards and best practices for backend development.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and mentor junior team members as required.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, addressing security and data privacy considerations appropriately.
• Document technical designs, architectures, and processes to maintain clarity throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues, implement solutions proactively, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
