Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our innovative team at Twixor in Chennai or Bangalore. This full-time, mid-level role is ideal for candidates with up to 6 years of hands-on experience in backend development. You'll be a key player in architecting robust digital process automation solutions, powering customer interactions across diverse messaging platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java, and Springboot (Mandatory skill) with ability to design and implement scalable server-side logic.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, ensuring component reusability and modularity within distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of developing, documenting, and consuming REST APIs for seamless and secure integration with third-party platforms and internal modules.
• Experience with relational databases such as MYSQL or SQL PostgreSQL, focusing on data modeling, complex queries, and database performance optimization.
• Adept at debugging, troubleshooting, and profiling applications to deliver robust and high-quality code in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git, to manage code efficiently within collaborative settings.
• Ability to work in Agile teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and transform business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Exposure to continuous integration/continuous deployment workflows to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of new features and improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for diagnosing application performance and providing scalable solutions in production environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java, Springboot, and related frameworks as per project requirements.
• Build robust REST APIs ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance communication between applications and external systems.
• Work closely with frontend teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate functional and technical requirements into effective backend solutions.
• Optimize database queries and manage schemas in MYSQL or SQL PostgreSQL to enhance application responsiveness and reliability.
• Collaborate in the continual improvement of development processes, code quality standards, and deployment pipelines to ensure best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues encountered in testing and production environments efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of system architecture, APIs, and development procedures for easy maintenance and handover.
