Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our team in Bangalore on a full-time basis. This role will play an integral part in designing, implementing, and maintaining critical backend services that support Twixor’s digital process automation solutions over various messaging platforms. You will be responsible for building robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems aligned with our vision of seamless customer engagement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Java (Mandatory skill), Core Java (Mandatory skill), and Spring Boot (Mandatory skill), and demonstrated ability to create scalable backend applications.
• Extensive experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs for secure and efficient system integrations.
• Hands-on experience implementing microservices architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability of distributed applications.
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of MYSQL or SQL PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, optimization, and complex querying.
• Practical familiarity with Agile Methodologies, emphasizing collaborative development, iterative improvement, and delivery of high-quality code.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues in backend services and implementing effective solutions.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and contributing to seamless software delivery cycles.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and understand business requirements for technical implementation.
• Must be a self-starter with the capacity to work independently, as well as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions utilizing Java, Core Java, and Spring Boot to power Twixor’s digital business automation platform.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices that support orchestration of end-to-end customer journeys across multiple messaging channels.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and reliable backend features.
• Write optimized, reusable, and efficient SQL queries and manage data models within MYSQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Participate in code reviews, conduct unit and integration testing, and ensure rigorous security practices are implemented across services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimum downtime and a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and suggest improvements for scalability, maintainability, and security of backend services.
• Embrace Agile best practices, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
