Job Overview

The Backend Developer role at Twixor is a full-time, mid-level position based in Bangalore. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end components for our cutting-edge digital process automation solutions. Candidates with up to 6 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply and drive innovative digital transformation for Twixor’s enterprise clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java, Core Java, and Spring Boot (Mandatory skill) with proven experience in backend development and application design.
• In-depth understanding of developing and integrating REST APIs for robust, scalable, and secure service architectures.
• Practical experience with microservices design, deployment, and maintenance for high-availability enterprise systems.
• The candidate should have experience working with messaging platforms or omnichannel communication systems.
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases such as MYSQL, SQL, or PostgreSQL including schema design and optimization.
• Competency in NoSQL database management with MongoDB, covering data modeling, querying, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in identifying and addressing application bottlenecks, debugging, and resolving complex backend issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git along with best practices for collaborative software development and code review processes.
• Must have excellent problem-solving abilities, understanding business requirements, and translating them into scalable technical solutions for enterprise clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs aligned with the company’s digital engagement products and messaging platforms.
• Implement secure and scalable microservices, ensuring seamless integration with both internal and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality and timely releases.
• Optimize database queries and schema to enhance performance, reliability, and availability of backend systems.
• Leverage RESTful API standards to create efficient communication layers between frontend and backend components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, participating in regular code reviews and providing actionable feedback to team members.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the adoption of best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
• Document technical designs, solutions, and processes to support ongoing scalability and maintainability of backend assets.
