Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our team in Chennai on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess critical skills and expertise to contribute to the development and optimization of backend solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in software architecture, with the ability to design scalable backend solutions. (Mandatory skill)
• Strong experience in Java programming, capable of developing reliable and robust applications. (Mandatory skill)
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB for efficient database management and operations. (Mandatory skill)
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot for building microservices and other backend services.
• Expertise in creating and consuming REST APIs to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
• Ability to conduct detailed code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Familiarity with MySQL for designing and managing relational databases effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components of enterprise-level applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement APIs to support new and existing software features, ensuring security and efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices while providing constructive feedback.
• Perform database management tasks, including designing schema and optimizing queries for both MongoDB and MySQL.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex backend issues to find innovative and prompt solutions.
• Continuously improve application performance, security, and scalability in alignment with business goals.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on software architecture and product improvement strategies.
